ABOUT RHONNY
Born in Quito, Ecuador in 1992, Rhonny Tufino’s creative journey began early, spanning multiple mediums from inherent artistic talents to natural musical abilities. Tufinos's skills were quickly recognized, earning him four Regional Gold Keys and a National Gold Medal at the 2010 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
Rhonny’s exceptional creativity led to the prestigious Silas H. Rhodes Merit Scholarship for his paintings and video work, prompting his move to New York City to attend the renowned School of Visual Arts (SVA). Under the mentorship of legendary director Bob Giraldi, Rhonny wrote and produced his debut film, Oh, Brother, which premiered at the Eight Hour Film Festival in New York City's Beatrice Theatre in 2014.
After earning a BFA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from SVA in 2014, Rhonny established Rhonny Tufino LLC and its creative arm, Tufino Studios. Since then, he has collaborated with visionary artists and companies worldwide, helping elevate their brands through various services, from elegant logo designs to large-scale film productions.
Over the past few years, Rhonny's photography has been featured in leading publications such as Harper’s Bazaar - Vietnam, L’Officiel - Cyprus, Glamour - Bulgaria, and The New York Post, in addition to his designs featured on multiple Billboard Chart Plaques.
Rhonny Tufino is an accomplished filmmaker, his work has earned him critical acclaim, including local and international nominations and awards for his cinematography, VFX, and editing on Lone Rider and The Companion directed by Robert J. Morgalo in 2023 and 2024.
His short films and music video productions have been showcased in iconic locations such as Times Square -New York City, Miami Heat’s Kaseya Center, Miami Marlins’ LoanDepot Park, and The Temple House. These showcases highlight his continued pursuit of pushing creative boundaries.
